How do I get rid of a game?

Is it a completed game (the Game Clock has run out for the last period, and you have told doHOOPS that the game is over)?

For a completed game, click on the Backups, etc. button in the Court Window (when you're not recording another game). Then click on the Remove/Delete Games button.

doHOOPS lets you remove a game either COMPLETELY (which really does remove it completely, even removing its won-lost result from your season won-lost record) or PARTIALLY. Partially removing a game removes the DETAILS of a game, making it NOT AVAILABLE for most statistic displays. However, stats from partially removed games remain in your player and team season and career stat displays, and in your team season-won lost records.

The Removing Games Window you reached from the Backups, Etc. button will show you all the games in your database separated into two views (the top view shows "complete" games; the bottom view shows games you have previously removed the details from). Games are organized by seasons. Just click on a season name to pop up choices about displaying individual games and selecting them for removal.

If the game is NOT completed you can delete it by clicking the Game Control button on the Court Window. If the game is currently displayed on the Court, just click on the Delete/Remove button. If the game is NOT currently on the Court, it should appear in the UNCOMPLETED Games list in your Game Control Window. Select the game by clicking on it, then click on the Remove Game button.
