How do I add an assist during a game without adding another field goal?

Just click on either of the Helping Hands displayed near the top left corner of the Court window. (The Game Clock must be running or you won't see these "Hands.") Choose the "2" Helping Hand if the assist was for a 2-point field goal. choose the "3" Hand for a 3-point assist. As soon as you click on the Helping Hand, doHOOPS will pop up a window asking you who made the assist.

(You can't add a "standalone" assist by saying "Assist" or by typing "A," since doHOOPS will assume you want to add an ASSISTED FIELD GOAL instead. The only other way to add an assist without adding an associated field goal at the same time is to use the ACTIONS Window at half-time or after the game.)
