Shot Locations, Layups, and Points in the Paint:
doHOOPS creates "layups" and "points in the paint" stats automatically, based solely on the locations of the shots you enter. (So if you don't record a shot location for a field goal, that field goal will not be included as a layup or as points in the paint, regardless.)
doHOOPS version 2 will calculate this stat for any games recorded with shot locations by version 1.
Tip: For layups, click (or drag and drop the player jersey) directly on the basket. For points in the paint, be sure to click inside the "paint" area.
